To assist individuals and families in Uxbridge, Brock and Scugog townships who are facing homelessness or housing instability. North House supports clients through various programs and services such as:
- Service Navigation, Housing Retention, Housing First and Mental Health and Addictions
- application assistance for the Housing Stability Program (last month's rent, moving costs, rental arrears and utility arrears)
- connection to income support programs
- Low Income Energy Assistance Program applications (LEAP)
- assistance with housing applications
- connection to emergency shelter
- support with Landlord Tenant Board process and tribunal
- referrals to other community agencies
- Ontario Electricity Support Program applications (OESP)
- year round tax clinic
- ID replacement (Birth Certificates and Ontario ID cards)
- harm reduction supplies
- shower and laundry
- pantry supplies (including: food, hygiene, pet food for cats and dogs)
