Description des services:

Program is designed to enhance the overall quality of life and independence of children, youth and adults with intellectual disabilities by helping caregivers manage exceptional behaviour difficulties that are affecting an individual’s daily life. Using the principles of Applied Behaviour Analysis (ABA), the Behaviour Consultants work collaboratively with families and community partners to deliver behaviour intervention supports in line with the individual’s goals * To be eligible for BCS Services, an individual must:- Have a confirmed diagnosis of an intellectual disability and exhibit exceptional behaviours
- Be currently living in Peterborough, City of Kawartha Lakes, Northumberland or Haliburton
- Be deemed eligible by Developmental Services Ontario (DSO) if they are 18 years of age or older

Admissibilité / population desservie:

Children age 2 - 12 with intellectual and behavioral exceptionalities and youth and adults with intellectual disabilities that have been deemed eligible by DSO * must reside in the counties of Haliburton, Northumberland, Peterborough or City of Kawartha Lakes.
