Description des services:

Transitional care centre that assists residents and caregivers with the transition from hospital to home, caregiver relief and while waiting for an alternate care setting.
Capacity : 27 beds
Aims to provide an environment promoting recovery and respite care * short-term stays only - 1 to 90 days * specially designed and available for individuals for the following purposes:
- Recuperating from surgical procedures or medical conditions
- Caregiver who needs professional care for a loved one while away
- Waiting for admission into long term care home facility
Services include:
- nursing and personal care
- assistance with daily living such as bathing and dressing
- medication administration
- meals
- housekeeping services
