Description des services:
|
In partnership with Resources for Exceptional Children and Youth (RECY), the Urgent Response Service provides time-limited services and supports to respond rapidly to high-risk behaviours to prevent further escalation or risk to a child/youth, others or property. High-risk behaviours include:- suicidal ideation or behaviour
- violent thinking
- fire starting
- harm to animals
- risk of exploitation
- self-injurious behaviour
- aggression
- inappropriate sexual behaviour
- flight risk
- property destruction
URS provides services and support for up to 12 weeks. It is not a 24/7service and it is not intended to replace existing emergency or crisis supports.

Children and youth 0-17 years of age. Children must reside in the Central East region. Must have a confirmed diagnosis of ASD and be currently registered in the Ontario Autism Program, and be exhibiting a high-risk behaviour
